A year and 3 days a go, a very special little girl walked into my home and moved into my heart. I knew t he moment she first squeaked a meow at me that I was hers forever (though I INSISTED that I was only a foster mom)
Over the past year, I have had many tears and heartaches with her, as well as moments where I thought my heart would break from all the love I felt for that little girl.
From the very beginning, she and Harry became friends

and she always melted me with how she looked at me

She always knew how to look completely, totally happy despite being in obvious pain

She always makes me laugh

and she takes my breath away with how beautiful and elegant she is

But I somehow got too busy to post a gotcha day thread for her!

I can't believe she forgot about me!

In the past year, she went from a helpless little kitten to a very independant little girl who can do ANYTHING she wants. Amputation surgery made a huge difference in how she got around, and I cried thinking I had failed her when in reality I did the best thing for her. In the past few months, I've noticed she's getting much better at jumping and climbs far less. She DEMANDS loving on HER terms and you better believe we deliver loving in whatever manner she requests.
I love my little squeaky girl!
