I just came back a half an hour ago from one of the most beautiful trips I've ever taken. I'll go into the details in another thread because I'm tired right now. However to all of the Canadian PTers here I want to say this, you have the most beautiful, friendly, country on earth! I throughly enjoyed myself at Niagara Falls. The people at Fallsview Casino and at Niagara Falls could not be any friendlier! I'd LOVE to go again!

prettiest and friendliest? hmmmmmm someplace in BC or Alberta I would think, Regina may be very friendly and very afforable housing etc.. but its the center of the prairies, there is not much to look at..no tree's, no mountains....umm we have a hill! lol :p BC and Alberta are by far the prettiest, but I dont remeber a whole lot about friendliest, I have not been for about 3 years.

David - if you ever get out to mountain country in Alberta, PM me!

Saskatchewan is SOOOO flat (HOW FLAT IS IT?) that you can watch your dog run away from home for a week.

:D

David,

Glad you enjoyed yourself and got back safely. Did ya bring me anything back?????? :p BTW, did you win enough money at the casino to keep me in the lifestyle I'm accustomed to???

I've heard the most beautiful part of Canada is Nova Scotia. I have a friend who lives there and the scenery is breathtaking!!

Jen, I'll make a new thread giving everyone all the juicy details. The last time I was at the Falls (before yesterday) was in 1953! If you want to make a trip to Canada, I highly recommend Niagara Falls. There is no sight more awsome like the Falls!

Oh I would LOVE to go there - hubby and I talked about going there a couple of times, but we haven't made it yet. Someday!

Well, you have not attended the July BBQ yet.....now there are some friendly people.

I was born and raised in BC and I wouldn't live anywhere else....although I have not seen Eastern Canada at all. :o It costs twice as much to fly across Canada as it does to fly to California. I would love to see the Maritimes some day.

Don't forget PT'ers.....2010 Winter Olympics....right in my back yard!! ;)

Slick, I should have said second only to the July BBQ crowd, Canadians are the friendliest!

Gini, it was EXACTLY what the Doc ordered, perfect weather, the Fallsview Casino was spectacular, and the Falls are awesome to look at. I took plenty of pictures including a few pictures of ME! ( if you didn't knpw what I looked like!) I'll get them developed and send them to Donna amd she'll put them on PT for me.

Trev, my whole trip was super! This was the first time in 25 years that I had left U.S. soil! Have you ever seen Niagara Falls? That is a sight to behold!
