Today I find out the pathology of the lump they removed from me on April 26th. In just a few hours I will know if I have cancer or not. I am hoping and praying for not. Very nervous and anxious.

I was just about to post an inquiry in your last thread, then I found this one. I'm astonished that you've had to wait so long to get the results. Hopefully this will be the last anxiety you have to face.

Postive thoughts and lots of prayers coming out to you today. Please don't think of the C word. Many, many times these lumps are benign and it's a very good thing that you had it seen to when you did. I'll be checking in frequently to find out results.

Oh I will indeed. But not all lumps can be felt. Mine that was just removed could not be felt by me, my doctor or the surgeon and was only detected by mammogram - so it is equally important to have the yearly mammogram after the age of 40. While it might be slightly uncomfortable it is well worth it, it could save your life. If I had not had mine at 40 and had waited until 50 it is more than likely that my abnormal cells would have become Cancer. So ladies, save your life, have your mammograms!! There's my bit of preaching.

Still grinning!!! :D
