Just a bunch of pictures of the fishing trips from last week. My brother obtained an old fishing boat from a friend of his. It was just sitting in his backyard. The motor has had a few troubles but we fixed those. We've had lots of yummy fish! As a warning, I am posting pictures of some of the fish we caught, so those of you who don't want to see -fish out of water- DON'T look! There are pictures of Ki here, too, but I narrowed them down so I put them all in one thread.

These aren't in any order.

Yesterday's trip, we had a friend that stayed right beside the boat the whole time! I completely forgot about fishing and just photographed and watched this dolphin. For those of you who don't know, dolphins are my favorite wild animal and have been quite some time. They are just gorgeous. It was so neat to see.

Waiting for me to tell her it's okay to jump in. We let her swim for a bit. I had to keep telling her no thought because she was trying to jump in so many times. There were little ball shaped floatie things with crab traps and she kept wanting to retrieve them!

She is so funny.. I had to draw a picture because it's hard to explain it but without telling her she'd jump, get her ball, swim to shore, run all the way around the dock to the ramp, all the way down the dock, and down some stairs, and to me. She's too smart.

We have some wonderful photographers here on PT and you are a favorite, Kay!

I loved each picture and appreciate the chance to spend some time feeling like I have been somewhere else :D I went out on a fishing boat, saw amazing dolphins - they fascinate me so!! I was able to chuckle at Kiara as she swam, retrieved and just looked cute. The trip ended with seeing the catch and the neat looking egret at the shore.
