Video Contest -- Pointless Dog Tricks

Hi y'all!

Been awhile since we've had a contest over at Nothin' Butt Dogs (http://www.nothinbuttdogs.com), but finally We're Baaaaaaccccckkkkk!

This contest is going to be over a 2 month period, May and June, since we're going to give video a try this go round. We're looking for Pointless Dog Tricks. Funny, of course, is always good. :) To get all the details, go to Video Contest Rules (http://nothinbuttdogs.com/piccontest.htm).

Hi y'all!

As long as you keep the video under 30 seconds, anything you can get your dog to do, goes. So multiple tricks are okay. Be creative though. The most clever trick or dog may not be the winner. :)

Par, are you computer savy? I just got a new imac, & I downloaded the trick files, but my computer's telling me it doesn't have an application that can open them. Bummer. :( Maybe someone else knows how?

I don't have a imac, so not sure I can be much help. What's the file extension (.avi, .mov, etc...) when you download the file?

The videos download as .wmv
I think the problem is that imacs don't come with Windows. I can buy addl' software, but that will have to wait a few weeks till I get my monthly check. :(
I'm going in for a personal training, I'll ask them about it.

Also, I gotta share a new video of the Gull Man. I've been teaching him to catch a treat off his nose like Oz. I'd been having trouble. He'd just let the treat fall to the ground. Then I stumbled onto the revelation that he'd catch a Scooby Snack and not just any Scooby Snack, only the purple Haunted House ones. ;) Lord knows what goes on in that lil' Collie head of his. I finally got him to catch the Scooby Doo ones too. I'm sure it's just a matter of time, before Shaggy and the Green Goblin are part of his repertoire. Here's the video:
