they are in luv

Little Ann had eggs about a week ago... Since i have a newt named Suzy that might eat the eggs .SO i gave her to Makayla(Zommer) to watch intill the eggs turned into tadpoles. She has a Newt named Galyith, they have fallin in luv. Galyith keeps her safe fron all the other newts and it was realy cute at first but then we started to wonder how we were going to separate them from each other ,and if Suzy and Gulyith would be them old selves after we separate them.
WE dont know what to do. Should we separate them,should they live in my tank or Makaylas tank????? :confused: They will be happy both ways but we both want are newts. What should we do?

I think they'll be fine if you separate them from one another. If they take the adjustment hard, try placing them in two separate tanks next to each other, and "wean" them away from each other.

I don't think they are together too long in the wild either. They get together in the mating season and do their thing then go their seperate ways. Its not natural for them to be stuck in a cage together and I think that would eventually cause too much stress in both of them.

Goliath is my newt... Suzy is her newt and she is living with my newt, we needed help sepertating them so we both said thanks... :p
