ahh. friends are friends. :)

I'm worried about brock, he looks like he probably is infected with feline leukemia. :( his greasy skin/furs, reddy eyes, few fresh bloody scabs and limping. :( I'll have to trap him to have him check, he's very nervous and scared but gets sweeter in days with you. and I haven't seen him for a couple of days while amelia still stops by for handloves and treats.

What a gift...like your dear Avalanche sent them...poor Brock, I hope you can get him looked at. He is such a handsome boy, and those lovely booted feet!

At least he is getting kindness and love from you.

I hope he comes back.

hugs

Oh Gina Amelia is such a pretty girl and I'm glad that she is a healthy looking girl.

Brock is so darn adorable. Just look at the sweet, sweet face of his and those toesies are just to die for.
I pray that you are wrong with what ails him and that you are able to bring him to a vet to get checked out.

Do you think he might belong to someone?

catty - actually, brock has stopped by once before avalanche went off (you can see him by the door, pictures taken few weeks ago) but did not amelia. brock came back more after he died. then came along amelia. so avalanche must have sent amelia in - I'd like to think that anyway. ((catty))

rggirlca, I pray that too but I'm sorry to say I really think he's very sick. :( he looked, walked so terribly and no, don't think he even belongs to anyone, I fed him and he was a little big lion. but strangely he didn't come back...yet. I pray he's still around and is okay or has died peacefully somewhere. :(

thanks gary. hope your army angels will here soon with him! or flew up with him..

I'll keep you all up to date when brock stops by. amelia said hello this morning! had three treats (at her preference, never was hungry) then left. :)

Those are two gorgeous visitors! Amelia does seem quite friendly and such beautiful markings! Has Brock been back? He's such a handsome boy! I do hope he comes back so you can get him to see your vet. From his pictures, it appears that with a healthy dose of PT TLC he'd be a real lovebug. Please let us know how things work out for him?

I'm just getting a chance to read this and really don't have much to offer as far as advice goes. There's not much that can be done if you don't know where they went. I would keep putting food outside at the same time everyday and see if he shows up to eat. If you do see him again I would suggest trapping and taking to the vet. Gosh from his pictures he looks pretty healthy.

Amelia is adorable. Are you going to trap and have her fixed?

Poor boy. My heart goes out to him. :(

Gina, I have a havahart trap you could borrow. You could at least trap those cuties & bring them to a shelter.

hey lisa, thanks! actually was thinking about you and since amelia appeared so healthy, (must be taken care of someone, a microchip in her?) I'm afraid I'll get in trouble if I fix someone else's cat.. I want to fix her. so badly. would you go ahead and "take her away"? I know she could be checked if owned by anyone, I've called over 8 different vets around here and out of my city - none of them would be willing to take in discounts/bulk deal or least give in a reasonable price for one! I just had my all cats dewormed, vacced and still paying off miles' surgery.

as for our poor brock, I definitely will have him trapped and fix (if not fiv+) - but no, haven't seen him since. either have amelia too. :( I think I've seen her about a few yards away from my window twice - I miss them coming by! I said I would come back and meep if I've seen brock. I pray, tons of prayers. oh by the way, two different neighbors have lost their cats - not amelia or brock, am keeping an eye on street when I can. :(

lvdogs, thanks for your offer, I did thought of to ask but you couldn't meet up before findlay anyway :p I think amelia would let me put her into my rescue carrier if close again.

..where are you brock??!

Yep! We fix any cat that comes in our yard that hasn't been. I figure if they're in my yard, eating our cat food, and not properly altered and being let to roam, then it's fair game. Everyone may not agree with this, but I just figure they got a free spay/neuter job and all you did was help the cat out!

What adorable kitty visitors you have Gina! They know where to go.... I am envisioning a "Found Cat Hotel".... USA locale! ;)

I think they both look great, and like they know where to go for some attention!

I hope little Brock comes by again soon. Those toesies are too adorable!
