Belgian Tervurens are such beautiful dogs the walk with grace and beauty.
Belgian Malinois are short haired yet very powerful.
Belgian Lakenois is a very rare breed that has not been regestered by AKC
Belgian Shepard or also known as a groendale is a black long hair dog that has great wisdome.
These dogs are all part of the Belgian Shepard group and are beautiful. I have a Belgian Tervuren myself. :)

The other ones other than the Belgian Shepherd must be based out of the states there is no breeders in Canada from them.

I have herd of them all. (oun intended lol) :p

They are such wonderful dogs & beautiful too! I LOVE the Tervurens. My previous co-worker & friend who teaches agility always has at least one Terv. Each & everyone that I have met have all been excellent dogs in every aspect.

I'd love to see some more pics of your cute girl. :D

I've heard of every Belgian Shepherd variation before aswell and have met three out of the four at dog shows and such (laekens aren't very popular at all so I've never met one of them). I absolutely love them. Groenendaels are my favourite though, followed by the Terv, then the Laeken and then the Mal (They're gorgeous, but their coat is much too short for a grooming addict like myself...lol). A couple years after I get a purebred Toller I'm *really* hoping I'll be able to have a Belgian...preferably a Groenendael.

Your Sandy is beautiful by the way!

In Canada, they're all considered the same breed with four variations (Laekenois, Malinois, Groenendael and Tervuren). That's why they're listed as one breed on the site but if you click on the link for Belgian Shepherds, you'll see that there are breeders for a few of the different variations.
