Why do some screen names have little + signs by them?

i asked myself the very same and i came to the conclusion its because tehy are onyour buddy list :D ;)

Ohhhhhhhh....I have lots of people on my buddy list :D.

Yes, if you have a member on your Buddy List, a + mark will show up after their name on the "Who's Online" list.

That's what I mean by who's online, or otherwise known as currently active users.
