I am looking at trying to get a good 100% natural cat food. And I know there are a lot of them out there. So I need help weeding out the bad from the good. I don't want to buy offline. I like to be able to see and read the packages before buying it. Also it is easier to return if there is something wrong with it. So with that said, I think that narrows down the field a bit.

Felidae is a great all natural cat food. You can buy it at any feed store. The price is very reasonable as well.

Felidae is good.
Wysong Dry,the Found Ctas really liked when I bought it at the Animal Welfare Bazaar.
They loved the Gourmet Little Cans,I cant think of the Name.
They have California Roll, and Southern Cooking.
The Paul Newmans is good as well.

Any of the following are known to be a 'higher' grade cat food. The best thing you can do is do some research of your own on the internet

An excellent place to start online is the website about.com which has many researched articles on cat food and everything related to cats:

Cat Nutrition Articles (http://cats.about.com/od/catfoodandnutrition/)

How To Choose A Cat Food (http://cats.about.com/od/howtochoosefood/)

Dry Food Articles (http://cats.about.com/od/dryfood/)

Canned Food Articles (http://cats.about.com/od/cannedfood/)

Next visit your local pet food store (most of the items listed below are not available at Petsmart/Petco but independant retailers) Some of the more popular brands are listed below. But this is not a complete list of what's available at all.

Wellness
Wysong
Nutro
Solid Gold
Felidae
Natural Balance
Eagle Pack
Innova
Merrick
Natures Variety
Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul

You can look for foods that are labelled 'human grade' but there is no regulation on the use of this term in the industry. So buyer beware since marketing key words to the public on packaging is not necessarily the 'whole' truth.

Also, the most expensive food is worthless if you can't afford it or your cat won't eat it! It's up to some trial and error as you find the food that works for your budget and your cats approval. ;)

I really liked the wellness brand. I have been feeding my Chi's on it. When I got my cats, I tried to put them on it. But my cats wont eat it. My dogs love it, but the kibbles have gotten bigger, and so my small Chi's are having problems with it. I am going to switch them over to Evo, from what I have heard it is a smaller kibble, and just as good for them as wellness was. But I wanted to try and find a cat food that was good for them, plus I could find in the same store. Right now I go half way across town, for one and the other is on the other side of town. I really am getting annoyed with this. LOL
