I took Oz and Gull to get groomed yesterday. Trying to reduce some of the shedding. It's like lil' tribbles, multiplying faster then I can get rid of it off the floor. I'm a lil' disappointed though, because the groomer didn't wash their faces and she didn't do a good job on their nails either. So after paying $100, I have to finish up cleaning their faces and clipping their nails. They were extremely stressed when they got home too. So don't think I'll be going back there. Anywho, here's a few pics of'em after the big day. They are vedy happy to be home. ;)

Here they are zonked out. *Whew* grooming is hard work apparently. Notice the lil' swirl of dog hair around Gull, hence the need for grooming. :)

And here's a lil' video of Oz and Gull bike riding. They were none too thrilled at first with the whole bike concept. I had to just walk the bike around the block with them beside it for a few days. Finally got up to where I could actually ride the bike. We stopped traffic one day, everybody, even a policeman, had to watch Oz and I bike by. Must have been a slow TV day. ;)

That's it!

Great pictures! I love your dogs, they are just beautiful. My husband got me a really nice bike for Christmas, my son got me the Springer. I have taken all three of my fur kids out on it. Ebony and Diamond do wonderful on it. I have taken Jada twice on it. The first time went great. The second time not so great. We were riding along when I saw this little pom coming at us. Instead of getting off the bike and walking past the pom like I should have, I started going faster thinking we would make it by the dog. WRONG!!

The pom came to the front of the bike, Jada hit the front of the tire trying to get to it. When Jada hit the front tire of course it stopped the bike. Omg, I hit the pavement so hard. My head was bleeding, I was pretty scraped up. I was laying in the middle of the road. Jada is so strong that she broke right off the Springer. I was so scared I would look up to see Jada tearing into the little pom. Those two were romping and playing. I haven't gotten the courage up to take Jada on the bike again. I'm not sure I ever will. ;)

Great pictures, they all look so handsome :D

I liked the video too! But HOW did you do it?? Lol. My dad made me a springer like attachment and I LOVE it! It is the only thing that can wipe Jack out without too much effort on my part :o :D

Once again, it was great to see your Collie boys (and that lil glimse of Murph)!

Par, your pictures and videos are alway terrific!!! I loved these and they are no exception! I had to laugh at Murph looking for playmates only to find them all tuckered out. LOL! The video was awesome and your choice of music is always so appropriate! ;) I was thinking that if I hooked Bella up to my bike and she saw a squirrel we'd be doing 60 mph and I'd be screaming *Help me, I want to get off!*  :p

Sorry to hear about the bad job the groomers did, I had that happen once before (felt like I spent that much to come home and do the job myself:o). But they do look fabulous!

He he and I love the swirl of hair...we get those all the time:D

What a terrific video! I really want to know how you did that, makes me want to try it!

Oh gosh, that sounds terrible. Can't say I blame you for not wanting to try it again.
We had a similar thing happen but the dog kept chasing us and biting at Roxey, I just yelled "FASTER ROXEY" and we outran the other dog :p

Such handsome doggies, and the picture of Murph looking for playmates amogst the zonked-out collies is too precious. Miss Hoppy is nearing the end of her spring "big shed" - bunnies shed madly twice a year - and I look at the huge amount of fur one not-even-four-pound rabbit can produce, and feel your pain with two doggies more than ten times her size!

I think your boys look extremely handsome. And I am laughing at poor little Murph, wondering what happened to the big guys. :) (I just love that little guy.) The video is great, it looks like both of the boys have that bicycling down just right.

Thanks for all the compliments y'all!!

Hi JadaPit!

Oh, that sounded very painful. I had some beginning worries about incidents like that, but have since decided, neither Oz or Gull are strong enough to be able to pull me off the bike. The first couple of times with Gull, he stopped dead in his tracks and was able to back right out of the harness I had him in (Lucky for me he stayed true to his Collie genes and just stood there waiting for me, instead of heading for the hills). It didn't effect me at all on the bike though. I felt a lil' drag and looked back to see what was going on and then quickly stopped when I realized. Switching from a harness to a collar resolved the issue. I'll have to make a mental note that trying to outrun disaster is not always the best option. :)

Hiya Freckles, k9krazee and Anna!

As to how I made the video, I'm holding the camera in my left hand, the bike with my right hand. I then leaned forward and held the camera out in front of me to the right to get the shot, while biking. That's why the picture is kind of jumpy. I need a lil' more practice, balancing the camera and biking at the same time. :)
