Yes, it's true. The girls recently received some catnip balls from Canada! Great excitement ensued.

It's especially good to see Jessica playing, because she never plays! We don't know how long she was feral, but she obviously had never experienced toys. If you pick up a toy in her presence, you don't see Jessica for dust; but she loves these crocheted catnip balls. It is really heartwarming to see her play a little bit. She has been playing with one of them behind the settee. Guess which one!

Yes, it certainly can be powerful stuff! Isn't is great to see them playing again? I know that when I bring out some string, Max plays and that's the only time he will.

BTW: your girls look....um......well....."fluffy", or maybe it's just the way the sunlight is hitting their fur?? Yeah, that's it....it's just the light. ;) :D

Oh no no no, they need not be offended! Micky is a thug because he constantly breaks into my house, eats my cats' food, and plays with their toys. The fact that he is orange is completely incidental! :p

Yup, our Canadian Catnip will do that everytime to any cat who has the pleasure of receiving one from Uncle Gary.

We don't get to see your beautiful girls too often, (hint, hint) so it was such a pleasure to see these pictures. Even of the orange thug. :) That's funny that he breaks into your home to steal the food and play with the toys.

How do your girls react to this?

Actually the girls aren't too bad when Micky comes in. They seem to accept it as normal. If they are not at their most hospitable, then Sammy hisses, Jessica ignores him and Daisy hides behind the settee. There are other times though when all four of them sit on the back of the settee and look out of the window together. :D
