The only thing is I *really* wouldn't recommend you let Taru pick from the inside of your mouth. Our mouths are not nearly as clean as some other animals and our saliva, in particular, contains certain bacteria that can cause illness in birds.

I agree.Birds can get very ill form eating out of are mouths
