I've mentioned it in a couple posts, but hadn't yet made a thread about it. Justin and I are buying a house an hour and a half away from where we live now. Right now we are south east of Orlando, when we move we will be North east. Justin's drive to work will be about the same distance, just in a different direction. We are scheduled to close on April 28.

The house is pretty much my dream house. It's on 5 acres and has a barn. The house has a 4 bedrooms- 1 will be our room, 1 will be Justin's office, and the other 2 will be spare rooms until we have kids. The family room has a fire place. The kitchen and bathrooms need some updating, but I'm excited about doing that. It has a separate living room which I hope to knock out a wall and open it up to the kitchen, we'll never use that room otherwise. There is a huge room for my birds, which I am so excited about. There is also a room for the iguana and a room for the snakes.

We haven't sold this house yet, actually we don't even have it up for sale yet. We'll probably move into the other house the first weekend in May, that will give me a week to get things cleaned before we move into it. After that we'll put this house up for sale.

I don't have any pictures yet, but I will post some when I take some. :)

Oh my God, are you sure you're not moving into my dream house? 5 acres, a barn, 4 bedrooms? Lucky you!

It's not gorgeous yet, but after some paint and a little redecorating I think it will be. I'm so excited! :)

You lucky dog! I'm happy for you and jealous at the same time. I would love a place like that. Good luck with your move and the selling of your old house.

OR MINE!??

I need to come over and see your "farm" sometime, Kari. Need anything pretty for the new house? I love shopping for housewares. ;)

After I get settled in I will absolutely have to have a PT meeting!

Right now I don't know exactly what I'm doing as far as decorating. I've been looking at dining room table as that will probably be my first purchase for the house. Looking at tables has given me some idea of how I'm going to decorate, but I'm still trying to figure things out.

These are 2 of my favorite table so far
