Hello
I have to admit to coming across this site purely by accident. :D

I was looking on Google for advice for a friend who has a German Shepherd bitch who is 13 months old and hasnt had her first season. Next thing Im on this forum and after reading some of the posts i realised what a friendly bunch you are.

So here I am.

We have 2 dogs, Sophie who is a 4 year old (we guess) xbreed bitch who we got from a local rescue centre and Phoebe who is almost 7 months old and is a liver-spotted Dalmatian. We also have a tortoiseshell cat called Honey who is soooo scary :( , in fact Sophie is terrified of her.

Im sure i shall be joining in some of the discussions so look forward to "speaking" to you all

Welcome to Pet Talk! This is a great place for pet advice, but also just for chatting. :)

I have three cats, a mother and two daughters who showed up in the garden ond day and decided they quite liked it. They spend more of their time in the house these days though. This is a typical day for them.

Hi there!

Somebody else from a 'shire'!:D :D :D I'm a little further north, in Lancashire.

Your dogs and cat sound lovely, even if Honey is scary! I have a black-hooded rat named Tia Maria and a british blue cat named Zsa-Zsa, you can see them in my signature.

I'm sure that you'll love it here, so a huge WELCOME to you!:D

Thanks for a lovely welcome guys. Its lovely to speak to people from Canada and USA but also great to know that we have some "locals" here as well. Lancashire is not that far away nor Scotland really and Denmark is just over the water - neighbours almost.
There always seems to be something special about people who keep pets, no matter what they are and as a mother of 2 (and stepmom of 2 more) give me the animals any day!!!! :D :D :D
I will post some pics as soon as i fathom out how to do it

This really is a wonderful community and I think your going to like it. As you said, most of us found Pet Talk quite by accident.
