What makes your favorite dog breed your favorite dog breed? Is it their personality, their trot, their walk, their run, their bark, what?

Gosh, for me it's the Aussie & seriously it's everything about them. they are smart, funny, obedient, loyal, energetic and I love their butt wiggles, never ending grins, antics, the colors & markings as well as the softness & length of the fur. If I missed anything I am sorry but I swear there is not ONE thing that I do not LOVE about them! :D

I like my Aussies there a stunning dog there coats,eyes are my fav they all have different colours,and there personality,there trust,they are very loyal and pertect you with all they have. My Lacy is my baby she is the sweetest little girl to me ,she is my dog 100% she likes everyone but she sticks too me like glue makes you feel very loved and wanted!

I never knew about Australian Shepherds until my husband said lets go look at the pups and i did and have had Lacy going on 3 years she will be 3 in July,time has flown by but your right everything about these dogs is amazing.They are so sweet every time i am having a bad day Lacy knows and she will comfort me to the end like right now she is laying by my side she is soo special to me i love her too much!!

hounds -- because they are such characters and their eyes will melt your heart. I also love their long ears..:)

Labs -- because of their sweet, yet goofy personality. :)

Rotties -- same as the labs. :)

Pit Bulls -- every one of them I have met are sweet and great dogs. :)

I have to say the Australian Shepherd...hands down.

And I think lv4dogs was dead on for the reasons...

It's everything about them that makes them my favorite. I can honestly say there is not one thing I would change or want different about the breed (in general).

You have Beautiful dogs i miss when Lacy and Bandit were pups the noises they made and how everything was a toy to them but time goes on and you grow to love them even more..Aussies are one of a kind and i think i wll own one for the rest of my Life!

Great Danes - Their size!, their gorgeous heads, their short, sleek coats, their goofyness, their "lean", their friendliness, the way they can scare off an unwanted person with one woof, their wonderful personalities.

Lancashire Heelers, because my neighbour owns one and she is the most adorable dog I have ever come across. She's playful, great with young and old alike, never runs out of energy, has such a smily face (yes, she looks like she smiles all the time!) and is also cuddly and cute at the same time. I also love the fact that they have such short legs and really thick and quite long black tails:)

I have a real soft spot for Rotties. If I see one on the street I ALWAYS ask to pet them. I've been doing a lot of thinking & I'm pretty sure I want a little male Rottie pup as my next Dog.

abbersmom- that's cute. I always thought Abby looked like a Pekingese/ King Charles Spaniel mix. She's a doll face, that's for sure!!

I don't really have a favorite breed. Most of my favorites are terriers though. Terriers have such great spunky spirits. I love min pins, dachshunds, jack russells, rat terriers, pit bulls, bostons and so many more. I also tend to be drawn to breeds with short coats.

Well... my fav is a Cocker Spaniel. Because they are probably the happiest dog ever! They aren't the brightest bulbs, and that just makes them so silly. Their whole butt wags when they are happy, and I tell yah Sam's never stops! Cockers are so adorable and I just love their facial expressions!

I'm really in love with siberian huskies. Their drop-dead gorgeous looks, intelligence, independence, their unusual vocabulary, curiosity, and clowning. I also love to sink my fingers into their deep soft fur and rub their thick furry ears in my fingers! In spite of the breeds reputation for high energy, they can also be very mellow. I love how quiet they are, too.

Before I knew a whole lot about the temperment of the Toller, I was attracted to their size (17-21 inches, 37-51lbs) and coat colour. I love dogs with pigment that blends nicely with the coat (in the Toller's case, orange body with orangey-pink pigment). After I met my first couple of Tollers, I researched them a lot and I discovered that they were pretty much (lol...I say pretty much, because I doubt many people enjoy the "Toller scream") everything that I wanted in a dog. They're very high energy, high drive dogs and are always wanting to work. They can be very stubborn but are highly intelligent, you have to convince them that what ever you're trying to teach them was actually their idea, but once they understand what you're asking of them they're usually very willing to please. They're also very happy dogs and are constantly wagging their tails, they also look like they have a permanent smile (well, unless they're serious about something...such as a ball) Of course, I could go on and on but that would take days, so I'll stop here.....in my opinion there is no dog better for me than a well bred, well trained Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. I'll always have them. I also really love Rotties and Belgians aswell but I don't feel like talking about all three at the moment...lol

Bull Terrier- i love their clownish personalities.All that i have been have been very sweet dogs.They just seem to fit my lifestyle. I also love that they come in so many different colours.I just love the breed :)
Couple other favourites are Rottweilers,Bloodhounds,Newfies,and mutts of course.

For me It would need to be

Labs : because they are low maintanance dogs when it comes to grooming and they are just so unique with their character also I think they all have eyes that hypnotise you! :p

Boxers : I just love them!! I think its because they are just so playful and they got just cute innocent faces so you couldnt help but smile at them :D

Italian Greyhounds : Oh I just fell in love with them! I think they are gorgeous little dogs

Poodles : I love poodles but I cant decide what size I like!

Corgis!!! They are so fun, and incredibly intelligent, and they are just great companions. They are very affectionate and kind, but have an independent streak too. I also like how they are just a little bit bossy and contrary, too. :p They also have the cutest fluffy bunny butts!! :D

Flat-coats- There coat is so beautiful, long, glossy, and gorgeus!!!They are stubborn but hard to resist. Zoey may not be a great example of them, but god she beautiful to me!!

English setters-I like the field coat like t.j's. Long in the tail and feet. BEutiful tick liver marks, always willing to please and very sensitive to noise. The sweetest breed I have ever meet.

I love them both and will have both breeds when I move out.

Great Danes because- They are goofy and fun but at the same time super gentle,loving and lazy. There colourings are amazing there size outstanding and there eyes WOW I could just go off and stare. And of course the famous droopy muzzle wich is just oh so cute!! There just perfect dogs in my eyes...Well except for one thing..the problems they are prone to and their short life span:(
