Hi everyone :D
I had a question,My bunny gets regulaur food(carrots, lettuce, rabbit food, hay)But I want to make it a bit more fun for him,New foods and make his food a bit more ''interesting''.
I was wondering If anyone could give me some plant or something they give their rabbit.I really dont want to give him something poisonous.Maybe I could grow something outside if possible :)
Thanks :D

Try and give him cabbage instead of lettuce. Make sure it's not iceburg lettuce your feeding him. They really like dandalines (sp?)... and I'm pretty sure you can feed them clovers. Correct me if I'm wrong. You can also get some of this seed stuff at a petstore which is basically like treats.

I agree on the lettuce it gives them diarrea. clover, dandylions, small portions of fresh alfalfa.

There are lots of greens bunnies can have, but lettuce isn't one of them.
Here's the list we got years ago from the house rabbit society:

Alfalfa, radish, & clover sprouts
Kale (!)*
Brussels sprouts
Basil
Mint
Beet greens (tops)*
Mustard greens*
Bok choy
Parsley*
Broccoli*
Pea pods (the flat edible kind)*
Carrot & carrot tops*
Peppermint leaves
Celery
Raddichio
Chickory
Radish tops
Cilantro
Raspberry leaves
Clover
Romaine lettuce* (no iceberg or light colored leaf)
Collard greens*
Dandelion greens and flowers* (no pesticides)
Spinach (!)*
Endive*
Watercress*
Escarole
Wheat grass
Green peppers

* = Good source of Vitamin A. Serve one portion daily, if possible.
! = Use sparingly. High in either oxalates or goitrogens and may be toxic in
accumulated quantities over a period of time.

Mango is okay, but not too much of it per day. Rabbits cannot digest sugar, so and ounce of fruit per pound of bunny is the usual gudeline.

dried papaya and pineapple is one thing I gave my Angorias to help to keep them from being wool blocked. Sunflower seeds, and peanuts are Wee ones favirotes.
