Here is Charlie. 4 yr old Aussie. One green eye one blue. He is the most sweetest dog I have ever known. My first dog for me (as me being a grown up) lol I tried the puppy thing, I don't have patience for it. So I adopted an adult. I am sooo happy with him.

The only thing is we are working on him not jumping up and taking our food right off our plates. lol

Also, what do you recommend for training a dog not to bark during the night everytime he hears another dog bark? Past couple nights I have not had any nights sleep. And this is on top of having a 17 month old human baby.

I did buy the safe pet bark control device thingy that I sat on the counter. So last night I got a little bit more sleep. Or was it that the other dogs weren't barking last night. I dunno. I hope it worked. Or I'll be taking it back soon. (thedevice that is)

Well, Charlie was at a rescue. He was really skinny and was matted. He had a doggie cold (which I think is back just a couple days after his antibiotics) 4 years old. They didn't know his history. But he is very good other than the above mentioned.

My dh says I am spoiling this dog because I let him climb up on my lap on the couch. But I told him I think there is a difference between cuddling on couch, rather than jumping up to get our food. What yall think?

Well, without further to do. Here is Charlie. And I am Charlie's angel.

Well hello Charlie, I have an Aussie named Charlie myself too! :) What a BEAUTIFUL boy!

As for jumping and taking food and the other behavorial problems you have listed, I would urge you to enroll him in an obedience class pronto :) It does WONDERS for behavorial problems, I tell you what!

I hope to see him around more!!

EDIT: Oh forgot to add - THANK YOU for adopting an adult!

Wow Ashley you sure fixed him up! :) I think it's great you rescued an animal from a rescue. I hope it all works out for you. He sure turned out to be a beautiful dog. Looks like he is getting spoiled rotten! Good luck and good job!

Congrats on the newbie, what an adorable boy. Kudos to you for taking in such a sweetie.

I agree with Jessika, obedience classes will help tremendously.

I can't wait to see more of him, he's such a looker. :D
