I miss my young 'twin' brother and young s..well, sister too ..we aren't that close. before I moved 3,000 miles away, my brother and I talked almost every other day but not my sister then when I moved, my brother rarely keeps in touch and now my sister yaks like I'm her best friend .. odd. :(

anyway, I have joey and jenny, sometimes I wish I'm a middle child! so I can pick and admire both. :D :p ;)

Ok I have a twin sister, an older half sister, an older half brother, an older full brother, an "adopted"(my mom raised her but she didn't adopt her) older sister, an adopted younger sister, and my "adopted" older sister had a baby that my mom is legally adopting from her, so that would be another adopted younger sister.

I have two older brothers. One is 42, the other is almost 40. I'm not close to either of them. Actually haven't spoke to the younger one for almost a decade. I get along with the other, but we aren't close. (Biologically, they are my half brothers, but my Dad always had custody of them so I don't make the distinction most of the time.)

I also have a younger sister. She's 31. We get along well.

There are four of us, I am kid #3, so I am in the perfect spot, as I can say:

and not be contradicting myself! ;) None of them have ever been fooled, though. We're all spread apart in age, my older brother is 8 years older than me, my sister 5 years older than me, and my younger brother 5 years younger than me. Ma said sometimes it was like raising 4 "only" children. Our father was an only child, so the inter-sibling bickering and blame games sometimes drove him completely nuts.

I'm the oldest and I have 2 younger brothers. We're very close in age. I was born in Dec.1962, my brother Jon was born in April 1964, and my brother Todd was born in Oct. 1965. Todd and I used to be fairly close but now I'm not really close to any one. I've always wished that I had a sister.

:p Let's see if anyone can beat me... I have 2 older sisters, 1 older brother, 2 younger sisters, and 5 younger brothers. That makes me the 4th of 11 :rolleyes: . I loved growing up in a big family. I consider my relationship somwehat strained with my oldest sister and my big brother, but when it really comes down to it we always throw down for each other, and we do keep in contact. I have very strong relationships with all of my other siblings, especially the two youngest.

I have two older brothers and one older sister. They are all in their 30s now. My poor mother had three kids in diapers at one time! The three of them were born in a span of less than 2 years. My sister is adopted, so that is how it was possible.

My next youngest brother (13 years older than me) and I were surprises, otherwise known as "contraceptive errors." LOL! My brother was born despite an IUD...and I was born despite...a vasectomy, NOT KIDDING! :eek:

My Mom wanted two kids, and my Dad wanted four. Guess who got his wish... :rolleyes: My Dad refers to the kids as being in two "litters" - my three siblings make up the first litter and I make up the second, haha. :p

I have two younger brothers who are really half-brothers but I never think of them that way. They are also cousins since my father married one of my mum's younger sisters a few years after she died (when I was a toddler). One brother is 6 years younger and the other 14+ years younger. I helped to raise my youngest brother when he was a baby and I think he regarded me as a second mum. I left home when he was only four and I'll never forget suddenly realizing the impact of my leaving home when he was so young and we had been so close. I was really keen to leave and enjoying packing up my things when I looked up and saw him in the bedroom doorway, watching me. The expression on his face really tore into my heart. I gave him my alarm clock and told him to keep it for me so I could borrow it back any time I visited. He took it from me and hugged it as though it was precious. I emigrated to the U.S. 30 years ago when he was about 13, and I've seen him once since then. Both my brothers are happily married and each have two children. I'll never be a grandmother, but I am so looking forward to being a great-aunt one day. It's like a license to be eccentric!

I have a younger sister (2.5yrs diff). We never got along, but if one was in trouble, the other was always there to step in. Our personallities cause us to fight non-stop. Once we got into a nasty fist-fight, I won & we have never been closer.

My dad thinks, cause I never really stuck up for myself when my sister picked on me, neither of us were the domint one & my sister want it to be her, & when we got into that fight (she started it, I tried to walk away & got a fist in my face), I ummm beat the snot out of her pretty baddly (IMO) & we haven't even yelled at eachother since (its been about 6yrs).

We still talk about the fight & she says I made her look like she had been beaten by her boyfriend, black eye, fat lip, lip-ring ripped out, bleeding gums, sore teeth, bruses up & down her left side & one heck of a sore hand. I didn't have a scratch, nor a mark from where she punched me in the face & I wasn't sore anywhere.

Its funny how such a horrible thing, corrected our hatetred towards eachother. We chit chat on MSN all day now & talk on the phone. If it wasn't for her, I would have NEVER found a place to move into next week & she wouldn't have been able to afford last years xmas gift for dad (I bought it & put her name on it, dad knew, but she still thinks that dad thinks she helped pay for it).

I'm happy with our current relationship :)

I was the oldest of 4 children. My sister died at age 16 (20 years ago this year), my brother died at age 17, (also 20 years ago this year), I have one younger brother left but I have not seen him in about 18 years - since he was thrown out by my parents (he was an awful person, said he'd kill me). Apparently he's matured a bit, calls my mom now for birthdays, mothers day, etc. I've had no contact with him, I have no desire to.

My brother John who passed away 5 years ago, would have been 70 in Nov. His son (an only child), passed away unexpectedly 5 months later at the age of 40. :(
