BASEBALL 2006! We're going to ALL the stadiums in California!

Hi. It's been awhile since I've been on here, but our vacation plans for this year have been finalized and we'll be attending baseball games at ALL of the major league stadiums in California this year! Some of you may remember that we plan our yearly vacations around Major League Baseball, and attend at least one game at a stadium we've never been to before, every year. THIS year we are going to California, and these are the dates we are attending the games at each stadium there:

Monday, May 29th; San Diego Padres vs. Colorado Rockies.

Tuesday, May 30th; Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim vs. Minnesota Twins

Thursday, June 1st; Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Philadelphia Phillies

Sunday, June 4th; Oakland A's vs. Minnesota Twins

Wednesday, June 7th; San Francisco Giants vs. Florida Marlins

We are really looking forward to this trip, as we have never been to California before, and we have never attended so many games, at so many stadiums we haven't been to before, in one vacation.

We will be staying at a combination of hotels and KOA campgrounds (cabins) while in California, and all of our reservations have been made. Our airline tickets have been purchased, our game tickets for each of these games have been purchased, and now we just have to WAIT until May 27th, when we fly out!

Have fun! My hubby and I went to the Petco stadium in San Diego last year It just might be the best stadium in the country. Love it! We used to have this dream that we could get to see them all, but they keep tearing them down and building new ones before we get there. :D

These are the other teams we have seen play in their home stadiums so far:

Kansas City Royals, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, Minnesota Twins, Milwaukee Brewers, Colorado Rockies, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Detroit Tigers, Florida Marlins, Atlanta Braves, Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, Cincinnatti Reds, and St. Louis Cardinals. We have been to Yankee Stadium but they weren't playing at home when we were there. We had RED SOX shirts on the day we went there to try to tour the stadium, and weren't given a very nice reception! :D That was the year the Red Sox went on to win the World Series, too. THAT was FUN!
