I'd like to purchase or actually attempt to make some dog steps for Frankie.
I saw on-line and the prices are ridiculous. Some even cost over 150 dollars.
Has anyone purchased Doggie Steps or made some themselves?

I know when I worked at PetCo we had ramps and they were no more than $100, depending on which one you got.

Sorry I couldn't help much though :(

I have some foam steps I got from LTD Commodities. At our office we get a catalog, but they have a website too. I don't remember how much the smaller ones are, but the larger ones were $34.95. My dogs are kind of scare of them, but I'm trying to get them used to it. A friend of mine said they were at Target for even cheaper.

My Granddad bought one for his fat Chow Chow who had troubles getting into his truck. It works fantastically!

Daisy and Delilah recently bought one for her girls and made a thread about it.

Thanks Jackie!! I sure did. I got them the doggy steps from "As Seen On TV", Carmen. The steps are pretty small and pretty much Daisy's size. They were $29.95(I think-if I remember correctly). They were sturdier than I expected, if you prop it up against something solidly. I don't know how much Beenie and Frankie weigh but they might be too big(in my opinon)for this kind. Daisy is almost 6 pounds and Delilah is about 12 pounds. Delilah uses them too but not as much. They have a website you can go to and I found the exact same steps at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Another note:it states for up to 70 pounds on the box but I think a 70 pound dog would be too large for them. Good luck. PM me if you need more help :D

I've got a ramp, not steps, but I like the ramp better for Claire and Rebel because I like to have the least amount of steps or jumps at all for them :) The ramp works really good and it cost me around $70.00. If this link works you can see my ramp here (http://www.carealotpets.com/item-detail/?ItemID=000000000001313).

I bet steps would be fairly easy to make though and pretty cheap :)

There is a Target about 45 min. away. I need to go downtown anyway for something else. Thanks a bunch.

I just looked at them on line.
They don't look big enough from the measurements. :(
Kfamr never told me how much her dad would want to make some... or even if he could.
I'll probably end up making them myself. I found a site online that gives you step by step directions on how to make them yourself.
