What's the difference between the 2? I want a Canon for my birthday, which is in 4 months. Possibly one of these 2. What's the difference, and would you recommend one over the other?

EDIT: I would probably lean towards the A20

On one of the sites it said that they come with 4Alkaline batteries, and to save the environment go buy some rechargeables and a nice charger. So that means it doesnt come with a charger right?
ETA:They both have Macro, and that's basically what I want, but do you recommend any other cameras?

No, of course not ;)

The camera does not come with rechargable batteries so it won't come with a charger.

They take AA batteries, and I will tell you now your best option will be to buy some rechargable batteries because if you don't they go through batteries so fast!

Ah..Ok. Sorry for so many questions, but what kind of memory card does the camera take?
ETA2: Ok after Reviews I dont think its the right camera for me. I reallyu want something with a movie mode, and honestly I would prefer a Canon, and as I already mentioned, I want something with Macro.

Look into the A300 then! That was my first PowerShot and its amazing! I still have it even to this day and will use it as a backup camera. It has movie mode WITH sound and amazing quality photos

The A10 and A20 are both discontinued models as well, so if you were looking into those then your chances of finding the A300 are just the same. ;)

The A430 looks promising :)

I know you can find older models though through websites if you search eBay or even froogle.com for CHEAP! :D
