Today I went to the petshop to buy a supply of litterbox filling. Then I discovered that they had the Petflow waterfountain :) ; and more important: it was ON SALE!! In fact it was only half the price of the one I saw at another shop a week ago  .So........ ;) :D

Hey meowmie, what have you bought for us??

Maya recognized this. We used to have such a fountain 3 years ago, but it broke down then...

I am glad you posted these pictures, as I have been thinking about getting one for my girls! But I have been uncertain whether they would use it or not.

EVERY morning, Sasha begins screaming for me to get out of bed so she can get a drink from the faucet in the bathroom sink! This has been going on for over 6 months.... and now Tabitha gets up there every morning for a drink also. And needless to say, I hear them both up there asking fro a drink at other times of the day and evening!

But I have been uncertain if they would take to a fountain, or if the attraction is mostly just being able to be on the sink counter! Tabitha is so small and petite, that she cannot reach the faucet, so Meowmie stands there with her hand under the running water and cups the water for Tabitha to drink from! (Oh the things we do for our loved furbabies!) Well, I think that I will give this a try! I know that PetSmart told me that if I buy one there and they don't use it, I can bring it back within a few weeks! That seems reasonable! I will etone this weekend since Friday is payday! ;)

I have looked and looked at those and wondered how mine would like them.

Like others, I have wondered how the gang would get along with one of these. From experience, purpose built cat oriented thing = no interest whatever!! :D hehe

My curiosity goes no further though as all electric sockets in our kitchen are counter height and I just couldn't therefore engineer operating one of these sadly...

Lucky girls! :) I bet they'll all drink more now. How sweet that Snoopy copied Maya.

The one I got for Fister, looks exactly the same - he likes it and drinks more.

If your water is calcareous, remember to put a bottle of winegar in it once a week - you can feel if there's any stuck to the surface. You can reuse the winegar. ;)

Happy drinking, girls! :D

That is great advize, Randi! Thanks! Our water IS very calcerous, so maybe that was the reason why our first fountain broke down??? You do mean vinegar, like in Oil & vinegar, right? But how does that work then? Of course the cats cannot drink from it then!??
