This is my niece, Gabi, sportin' her new pink hat. It was my first project using two yarns and my first attempt at pom poms! :) And, of course, that's me taking the picture. :)

And, here is my second baby hat, much better than my first attempt! I'm thinking of putting a little yellow pom pom on top. It's two yarns, one solid pale yellow and the other white with blue, pink, and, yellow. It looks kinda white in the first picture, but, it's just really pale yellow. It is unbelievably soft, I wish you could feel it! I love this little hat, it's so pretty. :)

So, yeah, I'm a tiny bit proud of what I've done so far, and, I hope y'all don't mind me posting these pictures to share! :)

Do you have those hat looms? We made a ton of those and matching scarves while at the hospital.. They make really super Christmas gift where it is cold...

I even made some of the scarves on the loom...

Thank you, everyone, for commenting on my hats! :) Gabi loves hers, and, I know my friend will love the one I made for Isabella, her baby girl. I'll have to post pictures of her, too...I already have pics of her wearing the white one, I should have posted them in here, oops.

Yeah, I used the knifty knitter. I haven't learned to make hats with needles, yet, although I want to. I want to learn how to use the circular needles and the two ended needles...I haven't made scarves on the loom, yet, because I know how to make them with regular needles. I've made five hats so far, and, have a couple more that I wanna do, even though it's too warm here now. ;)

I've definitely thought of it, but, I wanna practice some more and learn how to really knit a few other things. I have a friend who's opening a little shop and I may make a few things for his shop. :) It was hard choosing the colors, I really wasn't sure that they'd work together, and, they're different types of yarn, but, I was pleasantly surprised at how well they turned out. I'm glad that they look good in here, too! :)

I love the pompom...so cute! Nice job.

I just bought a lean to knit kit at Target this weekend. It's a dog sweater! We'll see how far I get.

Good job again!

Laura's Babies, those are gorgeous!

Cataholic, well...with the loom I have learned to use, there are three sizes for hats...baby, child, adult...i can make them a little tighter or looser depending on the type of yarn or if i use one or two strands together. But, one of these days, I'll get around to making some hats for some folks on here. ;) Baby hats are fun! Just in case, lemme know what color you'd want for Jonah...I haven't made one for a boy yet! ;)
