I have planned to get rid of some of my benjamin trees because they can be so toxic to cats, so I replaced two of them with two palm trees I bought last week, but the girls find them really attractive!

Look what Lily just did:

BTW, I also bought a dragon tree some days ago, but it was even worse with that one! Especially Luna couldn't leave it alone, she tried to pull out the leaves (to play with them), and she also chewed them. I googled for dragon trees and found that they are toxic to cats also (diarrhea!). So I put it away, now it is in my "laundry room", where the cats have no access.

That last photo looks like Lily is saying - "At last, a jungle to match my stripes!"

There's nothing like a nice green lush plant to attract a cat! My Archy gravitates right towards my ponytail plant, sago palm, and he nearly ruined my (un)lucky bamboo!

Lily looks beautiful looking thru that plant with those green eyes. Now, if only they wouldn't bother them! ;)

p.s. How's Peggy?

They must have seen the Health Advisories to put some Green into thier Diet.
Luna sure looks like a Leopard in the Savannah.

My two LOVE my big Palm tree. It's so big and hardy that I really don't notice (too much) the kitty-chewed leaves. Cute pics of your girlies, as always.

Pouncer says he always knew she was a queen, but now there's proof!

Lily, be nice to meowmie's new plant. At least give her a few days of enjoying it before you terrorize it!

OMG, I just came home from work and they have eaten so much of it already! And one of them has thrown up liquid and a green leaf, I guess it was Luna.

I just spoke to my vet and she said it's not a good thing. I asked her about malnourishment (because I read somewhere that cats eat excessively green plants when they lack something), but my vet thinks this was not the case as my girls get high quality food.

Now I think there may be some hair balls they cannot get rid off. After all, they started shedding already.

Edit:
Luna just vomited again! :( She also had a bit of lose stool today, and she pooped twice already. This is why I actually called my vet who thinks she may develope a stomach bug, but it's still too early for a treatment, so she recommended Hill's i/d.
