Yep, that's a tattoo. It's from the SPCA and it's a little "S". I never saw it before I named him so I think it's pretty cool his name is Simba. :D

Boy Kay, you never cease to amaze me with your photography skills. The three famous Muttlies are looking better than ever. I can see they're loving the gorgeous weather we've been having. Not only do those precious pups look great but so does your yard!!!!! How do you keep that grass looking so good? I have St. Augustine too but it sure doesn't look that good right now. Mine is slowly coming out of it's winter dormancy and it still looks pretty lousy. Thanks for the great pics of the Great Muttlies! :D

How do you keep that grass looking so good?

The dogs aren't allowed to pee/poop on that side of the yard... they only go over there completely supervised. I think that plays a big role in it. Also, that side of the yard has it's fair amount of shade, and it's fair amount of sunlight. It gets equal amounts during the day, so it doesn't get too burnt/dried out and it gets just the right amount of shade.
It also helps that it get watered weekly. ;)
