Poncho
Dog
Dalmatian,English Setter Mix
Size: Large
Age: Young
Sex: Male
ID:
Notes: Poncho is being presented for the first time ever on petfinder, this March 3, 2006. He is one of the kindest dogs ever. The second picture tells it all--he likes to roll over on his back for a tummy rub and falls asleep in this position before you can count to 10 sheep. He's serene and content and grateful. Non-aggressive, endearing to humans. He is graceful and handsome, too. At a year old, is still young but fully grown into a sleek, either dalmation or setter or both. You probably won't want him for a guard dog but he would like to go to work with you and guard your feet, or rather sit at them. He looks like something out of a nineteenth century English landscape with fauna. Right now he is being fostered at the Second Chance Pet Partner program but his only contact is Cathy McMillan by calling 601.664.7001 (home); work 601.354.3622; cell 601.720.0795. You will adore this dog. We all do. He is not a shelter dog, so don't call or drive to the shelter for this one. A keeper. He will be neutered upon adoption through Jackson Friends of the Animal Shelter spay/neuter program. He likes to keep his quarters quite clean.
