This picture is my Pal, a one-year-old Syrian hamster. Pal is a very special hamster. My mom bought him for me after a long period of begging. He was very tame from the beginning, and I later found out that that is unusual. He is very sweet and has never bitten anyone! He is quite the Houdini and has found many ways to escape! He even figured out how to open his cage door! But now he is very secure, we have made it so he cannot open his cage.
In this picture, I had given him a little dog biscuit to nibble on. Hamsters need hard things to chew on, so their teeth do not get overgrown. But he tucked the whole thing in his cheek, silly Pal! I could not ask for a better hammy!
