Saturn
is my Leopard Gecko, and the other member of our animal family
along with Hunter, our Chocolate Lab. We found Saturn on Petfinder and I
immediately fell in love with him. His age in unknown though, but I assume
he can't be too old. He's a great Gecko, and though he's fairly small he's
got quite the appetite! I could feed him all day and he wouldn't get full.
He's my first Gecko, so before getting him I did lots of research and now
I know pretty much everything about them. Saturn has a huge and spacious
tank, lots of good food and a great place for out-of-tank time. I turned
our spare room into Saturn's play house, so now he has that complete with
slides, tunnels and anything to entertain. His favorite nap spot in his
tank is the large tree branch he has, I see him on it all the time! It's
also his best way to help with shedding. When he's not on the branch, he
likes hiding out in his little cave.
When he's out of his tank he also likes sitting with me in front of the TV
and eating his favorite snack-Mealworms. The rest of his diet consists
usually of Crickets, but also including the occasional Waxworm. He doesn't
mind being around Hunter at all, they can sit on the floor together no
probem and Saturn can even be on Hunter's back or head with no issues.
When I see him sleeping, I just think he sleeps in the cutest way! He puts
his head down in front and puts his front hands behind him. There's a
photo of him doing that-don't worry, he's not dead! He's usually got lots
of energy, especially when I put food in, he really wants it!
Saturn is a great little Gecko!
