Kind: Abyssinian Guinea Pig

This is my beautiful guinea-pig Brownie Furrball. His first "wife" was Cookie Furrball. She gave birth to three babies on me and my sister's birthday (May 23). Unfortunately, she died soon after on my mom's birthday (June 17). Then we kept Daisy Furrball with him. She gave birth to three babies the first time: Bianco, Bella, Bugsbunny. The first set of babies we kept for several weeks and then gave them away to good homes. The second time she had another three babies: Cacao, Cappuccino, and Chocolate. The second time after several weeks we gave all of them, and sadly, I had to find Brownie a new home as well. We couldn't keep them because we could not find anyone take care of them during our vacations and could not leave them alone. Also, we live in an apartment, and we only had a cage on a table for them in the enclosed balcony, and we decided that it was too small for them. We knew it was the right thing to do, but I still think of him as my piggie.

He is very special to me because he reminds of the happy times we spent together. He loved being cuddled or going under your armpit during winter because it was warm and dark there. Brownie also loved going on the shelf made out of cardboard in their cage. Sure, he was a bit lazy and had a chubby stomach but he is very cute. He really enjoys being played with, and eating. His favorite food was: cabbages, apples, carrots, straw, and the special treats and seeds.

I taught him to go from the beginning of the windowsill all the way to his cage. He could also stay on his back for a few seconds if you put him that way. And what made him very, very special is that when Cookie died he took great care of his kids. He was a very good father, so I believe he should be honored.

He has colorful nails and small, furry paws. He has beautiful eyes, and Brownie, I love and I always will, even if you don't live here any more, I will always remember you!
