Kirby
is a very special pet to us. We rescued him from a broken home where
he wasn't taken care of. Chinchillas are animals that need love and care -
and the right kind of environment and food. Now that he is here and can
run around when we let him out, he is so happy.
He loves to be petted, especially behind his ears and on his belly. He is
so much happier here than he was at the other house. He also like to play
a game called "Ready, go!" This is when Kirby is on the top layer of his
cage and he is in a stance like he is getting ready to jet to another part
of his cage. If we get down toward the bottom of the cage and tap the side
of the cage and say, "ready, go!", Kirby runs so fast to get us at the
bottom. It is so cute! Kirby is so cute, and it is a wonderful thing to
see him being a happy, healthy chinchilla, knowing how he was before we
got him. He's the best!
