Hi,
my name is Kirsten. I live with four other guinea pigs who are just
like sisters to me. Right now, I have to stay in a separate cage. You see,
a few days ago, I had to go into the vet and have my right eye removed. My
eye hurt really bad and was infected and inflamed. I guess they found an
abscess behind it. I hear everyone call me a trooper, though. I guess they
are pleased that I starting eating and moving around shortly after the
surgery. I take my medicine really well also as I know my mommy and daddy
just want to make me better. They even give me any treats that I want!
Still I can't wait until I'm better so that I can live in the pen again
and lay in my favorite spot. My mommy says no guinea pig should have to go
through what I went through, so I guess that makes me pretty special.
