Jeannie
is a feisty girl. She loves hiding in your shirt pockets, and
conversing with our cockatiel. I bought Jeannie along with her sister
Ramona, when I was going to school on the east coast. When I moved
back home, I couldn't bear to leave my "babies" behind, so
I smuggled them on the four-day bus trip I took to return home.
Both hamsters arrived happily home (and they really seemed to enjoy
the trip). Jeannie enjoys playing outside her in cage, in the
"play" box my family made for her. Ramona unfortunately
died, due to an accident. Jeannie was obviously distraught that she
lost her cage companion, but she is a strong girl, and continues to
play happily to this day.
